Nathanael Smith, DPM
Nathanael Smith, DPM is a board-certified podiatric physician and surgeon with 7 years of experience.
Dr. Smith was born and raised in Monrovia, California. He attended Bible college in Tulsa Oklahoma, and graduated from California Polytechnic University of Pomona where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology. Medical school followed at Western University of Health Sciences, where Dr. Smith graduated with a Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) in 2016. He then completed a 3-year surgical residency at Chino Valley Medical Center in Chino, CA. This was a highly competitive program focused on Rear-Foot Reconstruction where Dr. Smith developed expertise in acute care at level one trauma centers and other medical environments. Dr. Smith served as chief resident in his final year, while working at several foot and ankle clinics, making his transition into private practice seamless.
Dr. Smith is board certified and a fellow of the American Board of Podiatric Medicine. He is affiliated with several hospitals in California and serves the Lakewood, Downey, and Long Beach areas.
Dr. Smith is fluent in English and Spanish. He is also a devoted husband and father of four, providing purpose for all his hard work.
Lawrence Hodor, DPM
Lawrence Hodor, DPM is a board-certified podiatric physician and surgeon with 40 years of experience.
Dr. Hodor graduated from California College of Podiatric Medicine with a Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine in 1983. He completed his postgraduate training with a residency at Lakewood Regional Medical Center in Lakewood, CA., and was selected to head up their Podiatry Residency Program four years later.
He is a Diplomat and Board Certified in the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgery.
Since 2004, Dr. Hodor has been a member of the Medical Executive Committee of Lakewood Regional Medical Center, and also serves as their Residency Director. Dr. Hodor is also affiliated with Los Alamitos Medical Center.
Opal Patel, DPM
Opal Patel, DPM is a board-certified Podiatric Physician and Surgeon with 3 years of experience.
Dr. Patel was born in Santa Monica, California, and grew up in southern California. She attended Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelors in Biology and Chemistry. She later went on to Medical school at Western University of Health Sciences, where Dr. Patel graduated with a Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine (DPM). She then completed a competitive 3-year surgical residency at Long Beach Memorial Medical Center, where she was expertly trained at a Level 2 Trauma center by several Podiatric and Orthopedic Surgeons. In her third year of training, Dr. Patel was elected chief resident, and spent several months in various clinics where she sharpened her skillset as a clinician as well as a surgeon.
Dr. Patel is affiliated with hospitals and surgery centers in California and serves the Lakewood, Los Alamitos, and Long Beach areas.
Dr. Patel is fluent in English and Gujarati.
Outside of Podiatry, Dr. Patel enjoys traveling, hiking, cooking, and trying new restaurants and wine with her husband.
